Philippine trade delegation reviewing ways to strengthen the marketing of national products in the Kingdom.
Head of Directors Board of the East chamber Bandar Al-Jabri said the kingdom has distinctive business relationships with the Philippines, during the chamber reception of the Filipinos trade delegation in its head office in Dammam headed by Commercial Counselor at the Philippine consulate and Investment Centre in Dubai, Dr. Faisal Abdullah, on Tuesday Wednesday, February 17, 2016.
Jabri said that the Philippines is characterized by nature and farmland, pointing to a bright prospect for cooperation between the Kingdom and the Philippines as part of a food security program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adding that the companies are already have large investments in the real estate ,food and agricultural sectors development in the Philippines has.
al-Jabri called Philippine companies to consider joint cooperation in the food industry in the Kingdom , and taking advantage of the facilities provided by the Saudi foreign investing companies, stressing that the Philippines factor has a good reputation among national companies and business owners for what is known about it regarding the technical skill, dedication and innovation at work.
For his part, Abdullah said that Philippines gives a great importance to the promotion of fruit products in the Kingdom, noting that it is the main source of imports of the Philippines of the energy during the period from January to September of last year reaching to $ 1.6 billion, while its exports to the Kingdom during the same period reaching to 53 Million dollars.
The trade delegation of the Philippines specializing in foods and beverages, agricultural products, cosmetics and health products.
